Due to its history, Selmet is located on several strategic sites that enable the unit to address the diversity of livestock production in Mediterranean and tropical regions.
In Montpellier,
Staff are distributed between the La Gaillarde campus and the Baillarguet campus.
In Corsica,
Staff are located at LRDE (the livestock development research laboratory) in Corte.
In Reunion and Mayotte,
About fifteen agents are working at the Pôle Elevage based in Saint-Pierre.
Abroad,
About fifteen SELMET agents are hosted by partner laboratories.
