Additional information

Cirad is working in consortium with IRED and PPT to implement this project under the EU DESIRA scheme. The Chadian partners have requested strong support from Cirad in terms of capacity building on scientific and technical aspects. It has been agreed that, in addition to the missions of the Selmet teams, close medium-term support for IRED will be provided by a Cirad technical and scientific assistant (ATS) based in N'Djamena.

The ATS supports the project coordination team in the planning, organization and management of project activities. The ATS facilitates collaboration between IRED, applicant and consortium leader, PPT and Cirad, co-applicants, and their associates and partners in the implementation of the Action.
