Le Domaine de la Fage

Domaine de la Fage is located on the Causse du Larzac at an altitude of 800 m. It is an experimental site run by the INRAE Department of Animal Genetics for dairy and suckling sheep.

The experimental work focuses on genetics, milk production and digital livestock farming. UMR Selmet is conducting research on the production of ewe's milk in Aveyron for the registered designation of origin production of "Roquefort" cheese, particularly on the issues of digital technologies, input reduction, monitoring of individual animal performance, etc.
